Assistant Pastor Jeremy J. Mitchel

Jeremy, 3rd generation of the Mitchel family to minister here at Gettysburg Bible Baptist Church, accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at an early age. Feeling the Lord's call to ministry, immediately following High School, Jeremy enrolled at Maryland Baptist Bible College in 1997 where he received an Associate’s Degree in Biblical Studies. In 1999 Jeremy transferred to Northeast Baptist School of Theology graduating in 2002 earning a 4 year program in Pastoral Theology.

Returning  to GBBC, where he had attended services since 6 years of age, Jeremy began  enthusiastically serving in various roles including song leader, Sunday school teacher and youth ministries, all while holding down a full time job outside the church. In November of 2010 by God’s leading and under the direction and leadership of his father, Pastor Dave Mitchel, Jeremy was ordained and began serving as assistant pastor of GBBC.  Jeremy is accompanied by his gracious wife Victoria and their two children Danny and Megan.
